Recombinant Anti-human SGK1 Intrabody [+36 GFP]

Recombinant anti-SGK1 intrabody in fusion with +36GFP works within cells to inhibit the activity of human SGK1, expressed in 293T cells. The anti-Sgk intrabodies recognize the enzymatically active form of Sgk and which, upon binding, inhibit Sgk's ability to transphosphorylate.

GFP with a theoretical net charge of +36 (+36 GFP) penetrated several different mammalian cell lines at very low (nanomolar) concentrations. Cationic peptides and proteins have been observed to penetrate cells, and both natural and synthetic cell-penetrating peptides are widely used as delivery vehicles. However, whereas a covalent link between the cell-penetrating peptide and its cargo is typically required.
