H-2Db/Human Mouse gp100 (EGSRNQDWL) MHC Tetramer

This product is a tetramer of biotinylated peptide/MHC complex with streptavidin mainly composed of Mouse gp100-derived peptide of EGSRNQDWL sequence covering 25-33 and H-2Db molecule. The pMHC tetramer recognizes mouse CD8 T cells, and can be used in the analysis of individual antigen-specific T cells.

- This gene encodes a melanocyte-specific type I transmembrane glycoprotein. The encoded protein is enriched in melanosomes, which are the melanin-producing organelles in melanocytes, and plays an essential role in the structural organization of premelanosomes. This protein is involved in generating internal matrix fibers that define the transition from Stage I to Stage II melanosomes. This protein undergoes a complex pattern of prosttranslational processing and modification that is essential to the proper functioning of the protein. A secreted form of this protein that is released by proteolytic ectodomain shedding may be used as a melanoma-specific serum marker. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Specific Mouse gp100 Staining
The PE-labeled H-2Db tetramer for mouse gp100 (25-33) was essential for our melanoma studies. We detected EGSRNQDWL-specific CD8 T cells with high clarity. The reagent performed well in our flow cytometry panels and provided consistent results.
Reliable Pmel Antigen Reagent
We used this product to investigate tolerance and immunity to the Pmel protein. The tetramer's specificity for the target peptide was excellent, allowing us to accurately enumerate the relevant immune cells in our mouse experimental groups.
