This mouse antibody is directed against the mouse alpha subunit of the acetylcholine receptor (AchR). It cross reacts with rat AchR. Monoclonal antibody 35 (MAb-35) is an antibody used commonly in EAMG studies and has been tested for use in inhibition and immunohistochemistry assays.

- Complement inhibition by this antibody-DAF (decay-accelerating factor) was assessed by hemolytic assay using sensitized sheep erythrocytes and rat serum, as a source of complement. Antibody-DAF inhibited cell lysis by about 76.61% at a concentration of 100 nM and an estimated IC50 of 9 nM.
