The AbPlus Anti-Bid Magnetic Beads (VS-0724-YC751) is an innovative affinity resin which is bound with anti-Bid specific antibody. The beads were designed for small-scale affinity purification and immunoprecipitation (IP) of Bid protein under native and denaturing conditions.

- The beads are in suspension and will settle upon storage. Prior to use, mix the vial gently (do not vortex) to ensure delivery of proper bead volume.

Involved in positive regulation of cellular component organization; protein-containing complex assembly; and release of cytochrome c from mitochondria. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including apoptotic signaling pathway; hepatocyte apoptotic process; and regulation of apoptotic process. Located in cytosol; membrane; and mitochondrion. Is integral component of mitochondrial membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; central nervous system; genitourinary system; hemolymphoid system gland; and liver and biliary system. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in pancreatic cancer.
