Provided is a chimeric (hamster F (ab')2 region/mouse Fc gamma portion) antibody using murine isotypes with different affinities for Fc gamma Rs. The chimeric IgG3 isotype with a very low affinity for murine Fc gamma Rs did not result in cytokine production, a humoral response against the mAb, or TCR desensitization.

Ideal for T-Cell Studies
This Anti-CD247 Fab Fragment is excellent for Flow Cytometry. The Fab format prevents Fc-mediated non-specific binding, which is crucial when studying T-cell receptor complexes. It specifically detected the zeta chain.
Functional Grade Quality
We used this chimeric antibody fragment in functional studies. It binds CD247 (CD3 zeta) without inducing cytokine production due to the lack of an Fc region. This allowed us to study the receptor function purely.
