Great For Flow Cytometry
I utilized clone FA-11 for Flow Cytometry analysis of macrophages. The staining for CD68 was distinct and allowed us to gate our cell populations accurately. It is a recombinant mouse IgG2a antibody that seems very stable and specific for the mouse antigen.
Clean Immunoprecipitation Results
We needed to pull down CD68 from tissue lysates, and this antibody worked beautifully in Immunoprecipitation. It is purified by affinity chromatography, so we did not have issues with contaminants. It also worked for IHC, making it a versatile reagent for our lab.
