Mouse Anti-CLPP Recombinant Antibody (CL703)

The anti-CLPP recombinant antibody (CL703) reacts with human CLPP. CLPP is a serine protease that forms the core of the mitochondrial ClpP-ClpX complex. It is the primary engine of the Mitochondrial Unfolded Protein Response (UPRmt), degrading misfolded proteins within the matrix to maintain mitochondrial proteostasis. Mutations in CLPP lead to Perrault Syndrome, characterized by ovarian dysgenesis and sensorineural hearing loss. The anti-CLPP antibody (CL703) has been tested in Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
