Recombinant Anti-CTSD Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (VS-0625-YC79)

The anti-CTSD eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human CTSD. CTSD is a peptidase impacting protein turnover and activation of hormones, associated with diseases like breast cancer. The antibody has a novel CTSD-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble CTSD from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
