AibGenesis™ Rabbit Anti-DYNLT1 Recombinant Antibody (AibG-Rb-DY384)

CAT#: VS-0426-FY384

Developed through our AI-powered antibody discovery platform, this Rabbit IgG targets DYNLT1 (Tctex-1). Validated for WB, IHC, and IP in multiple species, it offers high-affinity binding for researchers investigating cytoplasmic dynein light chains and their essential role in retrograde organelle transport mechanisms.

Target

  • Alternative Names
  • CW-1; TCTEL1; tctex-1
  • Long Name
  • Dynein Light Chain Tctex-Type 1
  • Sequence Similarities
  • Belongs to the dynein light chain Tctex-type family.
  • Cellular Localization
  • Cytoplasm, Cytoskeleton, Dynein, Golgi apparatus, Microtubule
  • Post Translation Modifications
  • Phosphorylated by BMPR2; the phosphorylation is abolished by BMPR2 mutations in exon 12 which lead to truncated forms of BMPR2 and which are linked to primary pulmonary hypertension (PPH1) [MIM:178600].
The phosphorylation status is proposed to regulate the association with the cytoplasmic dynein complex and may have role in cytoplasmic dynein cargo release.
    Ubiquitination at Lys56 (NX_P63172 [NX_P63172-1])
    Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus (P63172)
    Glycosylation from GlyGen (P63172) 1 site, 1 O-linked glycan (1 site)
  • Function
  • Acts as one of several non-catalytic accessory components of the cytoplasmic dynein 1 complex that are thought to be involved in linking dynein to cargos and to adapter proteins that regulate dynein function. Cytoplasmic dynein 1 acts as a motor for the intracellular retrograde motility of vesicles and organelles along microtubules. Binds to transport cargos and is involved in apical cargo transport such as rhodopsin-bearing vesicles in polarized epithelia. May also be a accessory component of axonemal dynein.
