The anti-HAVCR1 pH-dependent antibody (VS-0825-YC152) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human HAVCR1. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to HAVCR1. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of HAVCR1 on cells and tissues. Human HAVCR1, or Hepatitis A Virus Cellular Receptor 1, also known as TIM-1, is a transmembrane protein expressed on various immune cells. It is involved in the regulation of T-cell responses and is also a receptor for the hepatitis A virus.
