Specifically developed for cell therapy, this HAVCR2 recombinant antibody enhances the targeting precision of therapeutic immune cells towards HAVCR2 - positive tumor cells, increasing the concentration of therapeutic cells at the target site. In companion diagnostics, it delivers consistent results when quantifying HAVCR2 expression.

- Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2 (HAVCR2), known as T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain-containing protein 3 (TIM-3), is an immune checkpoint receptor expressed on activated T cells, Tregs, macrophages, and dendritic cells. It binds ligands like galectin-9, phosphatidylserine, and CEACAM1, suppressing T cell function and promoting immune exhaustion-key mechanisms of tumor immune evasion. Overexpressed in various cancers (melanoma, NSCLC, AML) and associated with poor prognosis, TIM-3 is a target for checkpoint inhibitors. Monoclonal antibodies blocking TIM-3 (tsr-022, MBG453) are being tested alone or in combination with PD-1 blockers to restore anti-tumor immunity in refractory cancers.
