The AbPlus Anti-HCV E2 Magnetic Beads (AP33) is an innovative affinity resin which is bound with anti-HCV E2 specific antibody (AP33). The beads were designed for small-scale affinity purification and immunoprecipitation (IP) of HCV E2 protein under native and denaturing conditions.

- The beads are in suspension and will settle upon storage. Prior to use, mix the vial gently (do not vortex) to ensure delivery of proper bead volume.
Target
- Introduction
- E2 is a viral structural protein found in the hepatitis C virus. It is present on the viral membrane and functions as a host receptor binding protein, mediating entry into host cells. Therefore, it is a key target for the design of entry inhibitors and vaccine immunogens.
