This product is a recombinant antibody that recognizes IGF1. The monoclonal antibody MuEM164 reacts with the epitope of IGF1. The inhibition of IGF-I-stimulated IRS-1-phosphorylation in MCF-7 cells by EM164 antibody.
Figure 1 Shows fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS) analysis of the specific binding of purified EM164 antibody to cells overexpressmg human Y1251F IGF-I receptor or human insulin receptor.

Figure 5 Shows that EMI 64 suppresses the anti-apoptotic effect of IGF-I and serum.
Treatment with EMI 64 results in apoptotic cell death as demonstrated by the increased levels of cleaved CK18 protein.
