The anti-IL1A eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human IL1A. IL1A, part of the interleukin 1 family, plays diverse roles in immune responses and inflammation. The antibody has a novel IL1A-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble IL1A from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
