The anti-LAMP1 pH-dependent antibody (VS-0825-YC237) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target both human and monkey LAMP1. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to LAMP1. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of LAMP1 on cells and tissues. LAMP1 (Lysosomal-Associated Membrane Protein 1), also known as CD107a, is a major protein of the lysosomal membrane. It is involved in lysosome function, cell adhesion, and serves as a marker for the degranulation of cytotoxic granules in NK cells and T-cells.
