Recombinant Anti-LPA Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (LT3015 var.)

The anti-LPA eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human LPA. LPA acts as a signaling molecule, linked to cancer and diseases with impaired bile flow. The antibody has a novel LPA-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble LPA from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
