The anti-LY75 pH-dependent antibody (VS-0825-YC244) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human, chicken, and pig LY75. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to LY75. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of LY75 on cells and tissues. LY75, also known as DEC-205 or CD205, is a C-type lectin receptor expressed on dendritic cells and macrophages. It is involved in antigen uptake and presentation, playing a key role in initiating adaptive immune responses.
