AbPlus™ Anti-MCAM Magnetic Beads (ScFv7) (CAT#: VS-0424-XY185)
The AbPlus Anti-MCAM Magnetic Beads (ScFv7) is an innovative affinity resin which is bound with anti-MCAM specific antibody (ScFv7). The beads were designed for small-scale affinity purification and immunoprecipitation (IP) of MCAM protein under native and denaturing conditions.

- Introduction
- MCAM plays a role in cell adhesion, and in cohesion of the endothelial monolayer at intercellular junctions in vascular tissue. Its expression may allow melanoma cells to interact with cellular elements of the vascular system, thereby enhancing hematogeneous tumor spread. MCAM could be an adhesion molecule active in neural crest cells during embryonic development.
