Recombinant Anti-NPPB Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (3C1 var.)

The anti-NPPB eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human NPPB. NPPB is a cardiac hormone aiding cardiovascular homeostasis and exhibits antimicrobial activity. The antibody has a novel NPPB-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble NPPB from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
