Rabbit Anti-NR2C2 Recombinant Antibody (clone R78-4M-2) (CAT#: VS3-XY3453)
This is a recombinant rabbit antibody that recognizes human NR2C2 (Nuclear receptor subfamily 2 group C member 2), which acts as a repressor or activator of transcription. NR2C2 may regulate gene expression during the late phase of spermatogenesis. It is capable of recognizing human, mouse and rat NR2C2. It has been repored for use in Western Blot. The recommended dilutions of Western blot is 1/500-1/1000.
We specialize in custom recombinant antibody production, offering seamless execution from provided sequences to high-quality antibody deliverables, ensuring optimal yield and purity.

- Post Translation Modifications
- Phosphorylation on Ser-19 and Ser-68 is an important regulator of NR2C2-mediated transcriptional activity.
Phosphorylation on these residues recruits the corepressor, NRIP1, leading to transcripional repression, whereas the non-phosphorylated form preferentially recruits the coactivator, PCAF.
- Protein Refseq
- XP_011532361.1; XP_011532360.1
- Function
- Orphan nuclear receptor that can act as a repressor or activator of transcription.
An important repressor of nuclear receptor signaling pathways such as retinoic acid receptor, retinoid X, vitamin D3 receptor, thyroid hormone receptor and estrogen receptor pathways.
May regulate gene expression during the late phase of spermatogenesis.
