Rabbit Anti-PABPN1 Recombinant Antibody (clone R02-8B1)

This R02-8B1 recombinant monoclonal antibody with high affinity for human PABPN1. It cross-reacts with mouse. It is suitable for use in a variety of assays, including WB, IHC-F, IHC-P, ICC/IF, IP. To validate the QC result of the antibody, we recommend a dilution for the antibody by western blot (dilution 1/500-1/1000), immunohistochemistry (dilution 1/50-1/100), immunofluorescence (dilution 1/50-1/200), immunoprecipitation (dilution 1/20). Applications Tested: The PABPN1 antibody has been tested by western blot analysis of PABPN1 in Jurkat, Hela, COS7, Raji lysates and immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded human breast cancer.

- Function
- Stimulates poly(A) polymerase (PAPOLA) conferring processivity on the poly(A) tail elongation reaction and controls also the poly(A) tail length (By similarity).
Increases the affinity of poly(A) polymerase for RNA (By similarity).
Is also present at various stages of mRNA metabolism including nucleocytoplasmic trafficking and nonsense-mediated decay (NMD) of mRNA. Cooperates with SKIP to synergistically activate E-box-mediated transcription through MYOD1 and may regulate the expression of muscle-specific genes.
