The antibody AP3-11 that specifically recognizes phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-triphosphate (PIP3) but does not cross-react with structurally similar phospholipid antigens is advantageous for PIP3-specific immunoassay. The phosphate group at the 3-position of the inositol group plays the most important role for antigen recognition of AP3-11, and that the phosphate group at the 5-position also participates in the epitope configuration.

Highly Specific For PIP3
Clone AP3-11 is excellent for differentiating PIP3 from other structurally similar phospholipids. The specificity is driven by the phosphate group at the 3-position. We used it in ELISA and it showed no cross-reactivity, which is critical for accurate phosphoinositide analysis.
Reliable Lipid Detection
This mouse recombinant IgG3 antibody is a reliable reagent for detecting phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-triphosphate. We used it to study PI 3-kinase signaling products. The antibody is stable when stored at -20°C and maintains its activity for our long-term studies.
