Recombinant Anti-PTN Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (4B2 var.)

The anti-PTN eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human PTN. PTN, known for binding heparin, functions as a growth factor influencing cellular development. The antibody has a novel PTN-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble PTN from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
