Recombinant Anti-SERPINA5 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (PC23D8 var.)

The anti-SERPINA5 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human SERPINA5. SERPINA5, inhibiting various proteases, plays roles in coagulation and thrombosis. The antibody has a novel SERPINA5-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble SERPINA5 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
