SmartAb™ Recombinant Anti-TACSTD2 pH-dependent Antibody (Clone KM4097)

The anti-TACSTD2 pH-dependent antibody (clone KM4097) is a recombinant monoclonal antibody that exhibits pH-dependent antigen binding to human TACSTD2. By introducing histidine mutations that act as a pH-switch, the antibody demonstrates a preferential affinity for TACSTD2 under acidic conditions compared to physiological pH. Using a yeast surface display system with a pH-dependent screening pressure, this mAb is identified which shows a significant increase in dissociation from TACSTD2 at pH 6.0. This pH-sensitive antibody retains its binding affinity on tumor cells while exhibiting negligible binding to the receptor on normal cells at physiological pH. Human TACSTD2, also known as TROP2, is a transmembrane protein that is involved in cell proliferation. It is frequently overexpressed in a variety of cancers and is a promising therapeutic target.
