Recombinant Anti-TFF3 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (clone 1 var.)

The anti-TFF3 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human TFF3. TFF3, expressed in goblet cells, contributes to mucosal protection and healing processes. The antibody has a novel TFF3-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble TFF3 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
