Rabbit Anti-TFF3 Recombinant Antibody (clone R06-6J1)

CAT#: VS3-XY3524

This rabbit recombinant antibody specifically recognizes TFF3 (Trefoil factor 3), which involves in the maintenance and repair of the intestinal mucosa. The antibody specifically reacts with human TFF3. It has been tested using Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin and Immunoprecipitation. The recommended dilutions of Western blot, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin and Immunoprecipitation is 1/500-1/1000, 1/50-1/100 and 1/20, respectively.

  • Long Name
  • Trefoil factor 3
  • Cellular Localization

  • Post Translation Modifications
  • Sumoylated; does not affect dimerization with MITF. (P19532-TFE3_HUMAN)
Phosphorylation ar Ser-47 and Ser-321 by MTOR via non-canonical mTORC1 pathway regulates its stability and subcellular location, respectively.
  • Function
  • Transcription factor that acts as a master regulator of lysosomal biogenesis and immune response (PubMed:2338243, 24448649, 29146937, 30733432, 31672913, 37079666).
Specifically recognizes and binds E-box sequences (5'-CANNTG-3'); efficient DNA-binding requires dimerization with itself or with another MiT/TFE family member such as TFEB or MITF (PubMed:24448649).
Involved in the cellular response to amino acid availability by acting downstream of MTOR: in the presence of nutrients, TFE3 phosphorylation by MTOR promotes its inactivation.
