Anti-TNC Antibody-Cytokine Fusion Protein, scfv (R6N)-mIL12

R6N is a mouse antibody that binds to TNC-D. IL-12 plays an important role in the activity of natural killer cells and T lymphocytes. IL-12 mediates the enhancement of the cytotoxic activity of NK cells and CD8⁺ cytotoxic T lymphocytes. This product is a novel recombinant mIL12-R6N fusion protein with potent single-agent activity that inhibits tumor growth in treated mice. The fusion protein mIL12-R6N comprises the R6N antibody arranged in a homodimeric tandem scFv format fused to murine IL12 at the N-terminus.

- Interleukin 12 (IL-12) is an interleukin that is naturally produced by dendritic cells, macrophages, neutrophils, helper T cells, and human B lymphoblastoid cells (NC-37) in response to antigenic stimulation. IL-12 belongs to the interleukin 12 family. The IL-12 family is unique in that it contains only heterodimeric cytokines, including IL-12, IL-23, IL-27, and IL-35. Although they share many common structural features and molecular partners, the functional effects they mediate are surprisingly diverse.

- This gene encodes an extracellular matrix protein with a spatially and temporally restricted tissue distribution. This protein is homohexameric with disulfide-linked subunits, and contains multiple EGF-like and fibronectin type-III domains. It is implicated in guidance of migrating neurons as well as axons during development, synaptic plasticity, and neuronal regeneration.
