The anti-TNFSF12 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human TNFSF12. TNFSF12 promotes endothelial processes like angiogenesis and can induce apoptosis in cellular contexts. The antibody has a novel TNFSF12-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble TNFSF12 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
