Recombinant Anti-PSCA Vesicular Antibody, EV Displayed (VS-0425-YC192)

CAT#: VS-0425-YC192

The Recombinant Anti-PSCA Vesicular Antibody, EV Displayed (VS-0425-YC192) is an antibody-displaying extracellular vesicle (Ab-EV). The product combines the benefits of both extracellular vesicle (EV) and antibody (Ab) which can guide the decorated EVs to PSCA-expressed cells or tissues. The PSCA is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored glycoprotein expressed in tissues like the prostate and bladder, upregulated in many prostate cancers. A polymorphism in this gene is associated with gastric and bladder cancers.

  • Introduction
  • This gene encodes a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored cell membrane glycoprotein. In addition to being highly expressed in the prostate it is also expressed in the bladder, placenta, colon, kidney, and stomach. This gene is up-regulated in a large proportion of prostate cancers and is also detected in cancers of the bladder and pancreas. This gene includes a polymorphism that results in an upstream start codon in some individuals; this polymorphism is thought to be associated with a risk for certain gastric and bladder cancers.
