Anti-5T4 (A1)-hydroxyl amino PEG-MMAD ADC (CAT#: ADC-005LCT)
This ADC product is composed of an anti-5T4 antibody (clone A1) conjuagated via a hydroxyl amino PEG linker to MMAD (A1-hydroxyl amino PEG-MMAD). It has demonstrated a response in colorectal and gastric cancers treatment by a MOA (Mechanism of Action) of Depolymerize Microtubules.

Specifications
- Antibody Overview
- Humanized Antibody, A1 (Anti-5T4)
- Clone
- A1
- Linker
- hydroxyl amino PEG linker
- Linker Class/Description
- Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is a particularly attractive as a linker for conjugation. The specific characteristics of PEG moieties relevant to pharmaceutical applications include: Water solubility; Lack of toxicity; Low immunogenicity; Well defined chain lengths and molecular weights.
- Drug
- MMAD (monomethyl auristatin D)
- Drug Class/Description
- Auristatins are water-soluble dolastatin analogs of dolastatin 10. Dolastatin 10 belongs to dolastatin family and it can powerfully bind to tubulin, thus inhibiting polymerization mediated through the binding to the vinca alkaloid binding domain, and causes cell to accumulate in metaphase arrest.
Target
- Introduction
- This gene encodes a leucine-rich transmembrane glycoprotein that may be involved in cell adhesion. The encoded protein is an oncofetal antigen that is specific to trophoblast cells. In adults this protein is highly expressed in many tumor cells and is associated with poor clinical outcome in numerous cancers. Alternate splicing in the 5 UTR results in multiple transcript variants that encode the same protein. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2009]
- Alternative Names
