Recombinant Mouse Antibody (A20) Fab Fragment is specific to AAV VP1, expressed in Chinese Hamster Ovary cells (CHO). A20 is a monoclonal antibody which neutralizes AAV-2 and AAV-3B subsequent to primary receptor binding. It does not bind to the other predominant serotypes 1, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9. It is the most widely studied monoclonal antibody against AAV-2, due in part to its ability to bind only to fully assembled capsid and not to unassembled capsid proteins.
