Targets FMDV VP1 Peptide
We needed an antibody specific for the FMDV VP1 pentadecapeptide. Clone 4C4, a recombinant mouse antibody, bound specifically to the YTTSTRGDLAHVTAT sequence in our ELISA assays. It was raised against the C1-Brescia strain and showed the expected cross-reactivity with the peptides we tested.
Functional In Neutralization
This antibody was reported for use in Neutralization assays, and we confirmed its utility in our lab. It effectively interacted with the major capsid protein VP1. The low endotoxin, azide-free formulation was perfect for our cell culture based viral infection studies.
