This anti-C1s monoclonal antibody is useful for the diagnosis and treatment of disorders associated with an increased activation of the classical complement pathway, in particular autoimmune disorders and neurodegenerative diseases, including neurodegenerative diseases with synapse loss, such as Alzheimer's Disease.
