Recombinant Anti-human GLI3 Intrabody [+36 GFP]

Recombinant anti-GLI3 intrabody in fusion with +36GFP works within cells and is directed against specific to the repressor domain of human GLI3, expressed in E. coli cells. Such a scFv constitutes a useful tool for studying transcriptional regulation of the hedgehog pathway in mammals and offers a starting point for developing novel Gli-related therapeutic intrabodies.

GFP with a theoretical net charge of +36 (+36 GFP) penetrated several different mammalian cell lines at very low (nanomolar) concentrations. Cationic peptides and proteins have been observed to penetrate cells, and both natural and synthetic cell-penetrating peptides are widely used as delivery vehicles. However, whereas a covalent link between the cell-penetrating peptide and its cargo is typically required.
