Human Anti-ACVR2B Recombinant Antibody (HPAB-N0010-YC)

A multi-round selection procedure was used to select for human antibodies that bind ActRII with high affinity and compete with activin A for binding human ActRII. The antibody was determined to bind across two stretches of sites on AcRIIB, with binding epitopes mapped to amino acids 9 through to 17 (NANWELERT) and amino acids 49 through to 63 (VKKGCWLDD).

Validated Epitope Specificity
The detailed epitope mapping provided for this antibody was extremely helpful for our study design. We confirmed its binding to the specific sites on ACVR2B using Flow Cytometry. The high affinity and competition with activin A made it a powerful tool for investigating receptor-ligand interactions in our cell-based assays.
High Purity Recombinant Antibody
We were impressed with the quality of this human recombinant antibody. The SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis confirmed purity greater than 95%, which translated to very clean data in our flow cytometry experiments. It reliably targeted the human activin A receptor type 2B without non-specific background issues.
