Recombinant Anti-C3 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (BA8 var.)

The anti-C3 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against Guinea pig C3. C3 is central to the complement system, supporting innate immunity. The antibody has a novel C3-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble C3 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
