Recombinant Anti-CD14 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (28C5 var.)

The anti-CD14 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human and monkey CD14. CD14 is a surface antigen expressed on monocytes/macrophages, pivotal for innate immune response. The antibody has a novel CD14-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble CD14 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
