Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), a highly glycosylated glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 180,000, is one of the most useful human tumor markers. Provided is a chimeric (human/mouse) monoclonal antibody against carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), designated chF11-35. The antibody is able to discriminate CEA in tumor tissues from the CEA-related normal antigens.
