Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), a highly glycosylated glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 180,000, is one of the most useful human tumor markers. Provided is a chimeric (human/mouse) monoclonal antibody against carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), designated chF11-39. The antibody is able to discriminate CEA in tumor tissues from the CEA-related normal antigens.

Great Tumor Specificity
The ability of the Ch F11-39 clone to discriminate between CEA in tumor tissues and normal CEA-related antigens is remarkable. We used this chimeric mouse/human antibody in functional studies, and the differentiation it provided was superior to other antibodies we have tested. It is a vital tool for our tumor marker research.
High Purity Functional Antibody
We required a high-purity antibody for immunoprecipitation, and this product delivered with greater than 95% purity as determined by SDS-PAGE. The chimeric IgG1 format worked well in our setup. The antibody effectively targets the highly glycosylated glycoprotein CEA, providing robust signals in our assays without cross-reactivity issues.
