The anti-CXCL1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human CXCL1. CXCL1, a chemokine, functions as inflammatory mediator and neutrophil chemoattractant. The antibody has a novel CXCL1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble CXCL1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
