Rabbit Anti-LGALS1 Recombinant Antibody (clone R04-0C8)

The R04-0C8 recombinant monoclonal antibody firmly attaches to human LGALS1. It cross-reacts with mouse, rat, hamster. It is suitable for use in a variety of assays, including WB, IP. This galectin 1 antibody was verified by western blot analysis of galectin 1 in 3T3 lysates.

- Lectin that binds beta-galactoside and a wide array of complex carbohydrates. Plays a role in regulating apoptosis, cell proliferation and cell differentiation. Inhibits CD45 protein phosphatase activity and therefore the dephosphorylation of Lyn kinase. Strong inducer of T-cell apoptosis.
