Computationally designed for excellence, the anti-MCM4 mAb ensures strong molecular binding to MCM4 in human and mouse models. MCM4 is a critical subunit of the MCM2-7 hexameric complex, which functions as the replicative helicase responsible for unwinding double-stranded DNA during the initiation and elongation phases of S-phase. As a central component of the CMG (Cdc45-MCM-GINS) complex, MCM4 undergoes extensive regulatory phosphorylation by DDK (Dbf4-Dependent Kinase) and CDK, which triggers the transition from an inactive "licensed" origin to an active bidirectional replication fork, thereby integrating cell cycle checkpoint signaling with genomic stability.
