Recombinant Anti-MIF Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (VS-0625-YC222)

The anti-MIF eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human MIF. MIF is a coagulation factor XII, a zymogen involved in blood clotting and fibrinolysis, with defects prolonging clotting time. The antibody has a novel MIF-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble MIF from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
