SmartAb™ Recombinant Anti-MST1R pH-dependent Antibody (Clone Narnatumab)

The anti-MST1R pH-dependent antibody (clone Narnatumab) is a recombinant monoclonal antibody that exhibits pH-dependent antigen binding to human RON. By introducing histidine mutations that act as a pH-switch, the antibody demonstrates a preferential affinity for MST1R under acidic conditions compared to physiological pH. Using a yeast surface display system with pH-dependent screening pressure, this mAb is identified which shows a significant increase in dissociation from MST1R at pH 6.0. This pH-sensitive antibody retains its binding affinity on tumor cells while exhibiting negligible binding to the receptor on normal cells at physiological pH. Human MST1R (Macrophage Stimulating 1 Receptor), also known as RON, is a receptor tyrosine kinase that is involved in cell growth, motility, and survival. Its dysregulation is implicated in cancer progression and metastasis.
