This product is an antibody that recognizes Rotavirus. The antibody mab27 can be used for immunoassay techniques such as: ELISA.
Figure 1 Neutralization of human RV WI61 (G9, P[8]) by recombinant RV-specific human mAbs in human ileal enteroid monolayer cultures. WI61 RV was incubated with the indicated human recombinant mAbs (100 ng/mL) for 1 hour at 37°C, and then added to the basolateral side of the enteroid monolayer culture. Cells were fixed 16 hours after infection and then stained with FITC-labeled polyclonal rabbit anti-RV antibody (green), Texas red-phalloidin (red), and DAPI (blue). (A) No mAb, (B) mAb30 (anti-VP8*, neutralizing in MA104 cells), (C) mAb2 (anti-VP5*), (D) mAb27 (anti-VP7) [against Wa (G1, P[8])]. Original magnification, ×10.
