Human Anti-ACVRL1 (clone MOR05377) scFv-Fc Chimera

MOR05377 is a fully human, high-affinity antibody specific for ALK1. The anti-ALK1 scFv-Fc antibody targets Activin Receptor-like Kinase 1 (ALK1), a receptor involved in angiogenesis and vascular development. It is being explored for its potential to inhibit ALK1 signaling, which may have therapeutic benefits in treating fibrosis and certain cancers. The scFv-Fc format enhances its bioavailability and stability, making it suitable for prolonged therapeutic use.

- Type I receptor for TGF-beta family ligands BMP9/GDF2 and BMP10 and important regulator of normal blood vessel development. On ligand binding, forms a receptor complex consisting of two type II and two type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. Type II receptors phosphorylate and activate type I receptors which autophosphorylate, then bind and activate SMAD transcriptional regulators. May bind activin as well.
