The antibodies specific for IAPP are used for the treatment and diagnosis of diseases from the group of Diabetes mellitus diseases, comprising type 1 diabetes (T1D), gestational diabetes, pre-diabetes, latent autoimmune diabetes of adults (LAD A; type 1, 5 diabetes) and/or type 2 diabetes (T2D).
