Recombinant Mouse Anti-DENV E protein Antibody scFv Fragment (E53) (CAT#: PSBW-146)
Recombinant Mouse Antibody (E53) scFv Fragment is specific to DENV E protein, expressed in E. coli. E53, a highly cross-reactive fusion-loop antibodies, bind to a conserved region of the flavivirus E protein and are generally weakly neutralizing. Because of their cross-reactivity, fusion-loop antibodies generated during a primary DENV infection should bind to partially or mostly immature viruses produced during a secondary infection. Therefore, these fusion-loop antibodies may promote ADE of infection by augmenting attachment and/or entry of partially immature virions. Indeed, it has been shown recently that fusion-loop-specific MAbs promote ADE in animals.
