Anti-Human GHR Recombinant Antibody (GF185)

Recombinant monoclonal antibody to GHR. This antibody binds to epitopes that are localized within subdomain 1 of GHR-ECD and is able to neutralize growth hormone (GH) signalling and inhibit GH-induced Ba/F3-GHR proliferation.

Effective GHR Inhibition
Clone GF185 is a potent inhibitor of Growth Hormone signaling. We used it in proliferation assays (Ba/F3-GHR), and it successfully neutralized GH-induced effects. It binds to subdomain 1 of the extracellular domain, which is the critical region for our study.
Useful For Flow Cytometry
Apart from inhibition studies, we used this antibody for Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. It recognizes the human GHR specifically. It allowed us to analyze receptor dimerization and signal transduction pathways associated with growth hormone activity.
